Design by laymen for laymen. It's exciting to see how a receipt works. A structure is created once and then handed to each customer to acknowledge and document their expenses. Dominated by numbers and schemes. It is set with the simplest of means, often in only one font size. Logos are the highest of the feelings, other graphics are rarely or not at all to be found. The only structuring is done with spacing, alignment and the misuse of ASCII characters.

We were on the road. Several days in Slovakia and Hungary. And as an inveterate travel group, receipts are collected to offset expenses and costs later. A whole mountain of receipts.

2000km trip, documented in receipts.
